Padma Awards 2024: Venkaiah Naidu honored with Padma Vibhushan for distinguished service

In a recent announcement by the central government, former vice president of India, Venkaiah Naidu, is set to be honored with the prestigious Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian award. Additionally, renowned actor Mithun Chakraborty will be conferred with the Padma Bhushan, the country's third-highest civilian recognition.

The government has also recognized the contributions of prominent individuals in different fields by awarding them the Padma Shri.
